While honoring the tried-and-true winemaking techniques that have earned Pine Ridge its reputation for excellence, our blending philosophy takes a different approach. Rather than following the usual norms—wines characterized by appellation or tradition—we source each grape variety from growing conditions in which it develops its best expression. For unusual complexity, we often combine fruit from several regions. And instead of restricting our wines to the expected varieties, we experiment with interesting blends—like using a generous dose of voluptuous Syrah to complement the deep fruit and structure of Cabernet Sauvignon.
